I just returned from an incredible stay at Diamonds Athuruga Maldives Resort & Spa and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was magical. The standout for us were the HeadChef Fernando and Chef Ashidul, who truly went out of their way to make our dining experience unforgettable. The food at the resort was amazing, with a variety of options including delicious Italian-inspired dishes. We especially loved the Maldivian-themed dinner and the lobster dinner, which was absolutely divine. The water villa we stayed in, number 21, had the most breathtaking view of the sunset and provided us with plenty of sunshine. The clear water and stunning house reef made for incredible snorkeling experiences, with daily encounters with sharks, turtles, and other marine life. The resort also organized a variety of excursions, including a whale shark excursion and a night shark snorkeling, which were both unforgettable. the attentive and friendly staff, delicious food, and pristine natural surroundings made our stay at Diamonds Athuruga Maldives Resort & Spa truly magical.

We got great value for our money at this resort. The room was spacious and clean, with a large balcony that had comfortable seating areas. The location was perfect, with a stunning crystal blue ocean right in front of us. The staff treated us with friendliness and sincerity throughout our stay.

The hotel design is clean, functional, and tasteful. The house reef is good, with efforts to increase coral. The food at the buffets is of good quality and always alternating. The dive center has fun and professional instructors.

Felt like a true getaway, no reason to complain.

The location of the main restaurant on the shore is breathtaking, with crystal clear water and colorful fish swimming underneath. The àla carte restaurant in the water villa is also a must-see with stunning views. The service is exceptional with friendly staff always greeting you with a smile. The overwater villas offer spacious rooms with outdoor showers and spectacular views of the ocean.

There are reports of insects in the food and uncleaned rooms which is concerning.

We had a fantastic time at Athuruga! The view, food, and service were incredible. The villa was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the unique microclimate of the island. The seaplane ride and activities were a highlight, and the all-inclusive aspects were a treat. The house reef snorkeling was amazing, and the spa was breathtaking.

Not obvious to find.

Clean - spacious water villa with a large balcony and comfy outdoor couches. Great reef in front of villa 21 for snorkeling - saw almost 100 species of fish. Loved the direct access shower from the balcony. Friendly and sincere host - Elize. Most staff were helpful. Marine biologist's efforts to cultivate coral were commendable.

The resort had great food and drink options, with a variety of choices to satisfy all taste buds. the location was stunning with beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters. Another plus was the friendly staff who were always ready to assist.

The resort lacked in activities and things to do for guests. Although the snorkeling was decent, there were not many other options for entertainment, which left us feeling a bit bored during our stay.

No toothpaste in the room.

This resort was an amazing experience. The crystal-clear water and soft sand beaches were breathtaking. The villas were spacious and comfortable with great AC. The food was great, and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed the snorkeling and the coral reef that was full of a variety of fish.

That the island was a bit small. If you're looking for a lot of activities or variety, this might not be the best choice for you.

This hotel provides an exceptional experience with its luxurious amenities. The exclusive spa and wellness centre ensures a relaxing stay, with private full-body massages and back massages available. The beach access is a plus, with sun loungers, beach umbrellas and BBQ facilities all available. The entertainment is top-notch, with live karaoke and a garden area to enjoy. The restaurant and bar/lounge area serve delicious breakfast, snacks and dinner, including special diet menus. This hotel’s location advantages make for a serene and picturesque stay.

The only minor issue is that the private facilities, while exclusive, could use some maintenance. my stay at this hotel was an unforgettable and remarkable experience.
